Terms and Conditions


These Terms and Conditions / Important Information have been put in place to protect Happy Pawz as well as its guests and are for the benefit of all.

  • All dogs must demonstrate up-to-date vaccinations cards
  • All guest must be treated for fleas, ticks and worms regularly with a veterinary approved product
  • Happy Pawz must be informed of any behavioural problems at the time of booking. Failure to do so will result in an additional charge or cancellation
  • Regretfully, we cannot accept dogs:
    • with a history of aggression towards other animals or people
    • that registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act
    • that are unpredictable and dangerous
  • We are unable to accept bitches in season (or due in season) and entire males over 8 months old
  • Failure to notify us of bitches in season and behavioural problems either at drop off or time of booking will result in an additional charge. The additional charge is £30 per day per dog
  • All dogs must wear a collar and ID badge
  • Happy Pawz has the right to seek veterinary advice or consultation if your animal becomes unwell whilst under our care
  • Client is liable for any costs incurred whilst in our care including veterinary bills
  • We reserve the right to refuse any animal that we deem to be unacceptable
  • Happy Pawz will not be held responsible for any animals
    • death due to unforeseen circumstances, for example, heart attack or epilepsy
    • injuries sustained whilst in our care.  However, every measure will be taken to ensure that this does not happen
  • Payment to be paid in full on collection of animal or otherwise by prior arrangement
  • We regret that deposits cannot be returned in case of cancellation
  • All guests must always have a completed questionnaire on file
  • Non-refundable deposit of £50 payable at time of booking
  • Dogs to be transported via our family estate car in either a secure crate in boot / boot guard in place, or by harness and seatbelt clip if dog not familiar with crate
  • In the event of a dog escaping/running off or the death of an animal, owner to be notified, along with all vets including customer’s vet.  Microchip company to be notified.  Details will be posted on social media/dog lost and dog warden and police advised if needed.  Deceased animal to be taken to our nominated vet Watkins and Tasker, owner is liable for all costs.
  • We must be advised if you are in agreement for us to feed our own (all natural/no additives) treats or if you are providing your own. 
  • In the event of your dog being a fussy eater, please confirm that you are in agreement of us feeding an alternative food to that supplied by yourselves (licensing conditions state that any dog who has not eaten for 48 hours must be seen by a Vet)
